What is demi-fine jewellery?
Demi-fine jewellery sits between costly fine jewellery and cheap fashion jewellery. At RaasRani, that means durable stainless steel or premium copper bases with thick 18K gold, rose gold or silver plating, made to be worn every day and to keep its shine far longer than ordinary imitation jewellery.
Is RaasRani jewellery real gold?
No. Our pieces are not solid gold. Each piece has a base of stainless steel or premium copper, finished with 18K gold, 18K rose gold or silver plating. This gives you the look of gold at an everyday price.
What metals do you use?
We use two base metals: 316L or 304 stainless steel, and premium copper. On top, we use 18K gold, 18K rose gold or silver plating. The exact base metal and plating for every piece are listed in the Details section of its product page.
What stones do you use?
Depending on the design, we use cubic zirconia (CZ), crystals (including Austrian crystals on selected pieces), pearls, mother of pearl and enamel. The stones in each piece are listed in its product details.
Will my RaasRani jewellery tarnish?
Our pieces are made to resist tarnish. Stainless steel is naturally strong against tarnish and rust, and every piece is finished with thick plating for lasting shine. Like all plated jewellery, how long the shine lasts depends on care, so keep it dry, away from perfume & other harsh chemicals and stored in its pouch.
Can I wear my jewellery in water?
Our stainless steel pieces are water-resistant, not waterproof. Splashes, rain and sweat are fine, but please take your jewellery off before bathing, swimming or the gym. Keep copper-based pieces away from water altogether.
Is RaasRani jewellery safe for sensitive skin?
RaasRani began because our founder's skin reacted to ordinary imitation jewellery. Our stainless steel pieces are skin-friendly and made for all-day wear. If your skin is very sensitive, choose a stainless steel piece; you'll find the base metal in the Details section of each product.
How do I take care of my jewellery?
Put your jewellery on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray. Take it off before bathing, swimming, workouts and sleep. Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing, and store each piece in its pouch, away from moisture and other jewellery.
What is the Premium Edit?
The Premium Edit is our top tier. These pieces have thicker plating, better-quality stones, a finer finish and more detailed designs than our everyday range. They come in stainless steel or premium copper, with 18K gold, 18K rose gold or silver plating.
Is your Rudraksha jewellery blessed?
Yes. Every Rudraksha piece is blessed through traditional prayers and rituals before it is sent to you.
Orders and shipping
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all orders above ₹999. Orders below ₹999 have a flat shipping fee of ₹99.
How long will delivery take?
We process orders within 24–48 hours of confirmation. Delivery takes 4–5 working days after dispatch, depending on your location. You'll get an email with tracking details as soon as your order ships.
Do you ship outside India?
Not yet. We currently ship across India only.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
Yes, Cash on Delivery is available. A COD fee may apply, and you'll see it at checkout before you place your order.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once placed, because we start processing them straight away so they reach you on time.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
We don't accept returns or exchanges. If your piece arrives damaged or defective, email support@raasranijewels.com as soon as you receive it, with your order details, photos of the item and an unboxing video of the parcel. The unboxing video is required for us to help.
